Now that you have installed your certificate in the Mac OS keychain, you are now ready to apply it to Entourage 2004. Open Entourage, and open your Accounts window by either selecting Accounts from your Tools menu, or by selecting Account settings... from the Entourage menu.
Now, select the e-mail account that you acquired this certificate for by either double clicking it, or by highlighting it and clicking on the Edit button. The Edit Account window opens. Click on the Security tab. Click on the Select button as seen in this picture:
Once you have done that, a window appears where you select your certificate by clicking on the None in the pull-down menu of this window, and selecting your name.
After you have selected your name, it will now appear in the Security tab:
Checking the different option boxes is totally up to your personal preferences. Click the OK button.
If you did not choose to automatically sign all mesages from that account, then you will have to manually choose to when you are composing your email that you want signed by clicking on the Options button in the toolbar of the email message, and selecting Security, then Digitally Sign Message.
