New RV!
Putting the exciting news up front (I do hate clickbait), we accidentally bought our Retirement RV a little sooner than expected. An Airstream Rangeline! Which also means we’ll be selling the Lance (sad face). more on my Corner.

Big Bend Ranch State Park 2025
As is our tradition, we spent a week of Christmas at our favorite location – Big Bend Ranch State Park. The interior main road was worse than usual due to the summer storms of 2025, but we made it to our spot, roughly 12 miles from turning off FM170 just outside Presidio, in an hour and 45 minutes. Those were a slow, grueling 12 miles.
RV Door Catch Replacement
The door catch on the RV finally disintegrated. Here is what I used to replace it.
Absorption Fridge Fix
Issue resolved on Norcold N611 Absorption fridge. 2015 Lance model 1995. We ride it hard and put it up wet. Been on 227 (over 22k miles) camping trips with it since 2015. RV Mod – Drawer Pin Catch
When traveling with an RV, things tend to bounce and jar loose. This is my solution to keep the locking pin from being jarred out of my dining booth drawer.
