A Tale of Two iPhones

Had some issues with having 2 iPhones using the same Apple ID. Voicemail and text messages combining. Hotspot passwords automatically changing to the other phone’s password. Getting an Android for one of the lines fixed all the issues plus saved me $100/month by switching carriers.

After upgrading to iOS17 everything still seems to work. That’s what we call progress.

General Motors and CarPlay – FIDG

Filed under FIDG, GM announces they will use Android, not CarPlay in their electric vehicles. Guess what? I *just* found out I have CarPlay. I don’t use it, so I really don’t care.

iPhone’s Audiobook Features Get Some Love

When listening to my current audiobook last night, I noticed it had a couple new features. I can now increase or reduce the reading rate (1/2, 1, or 2 X), and can jump back in increments of 30 seconds. Pretty cool. Delaying or increasing the time does effect the sound quality, of course.
